6 Golds and 3 Bronze at the JKS Kyu Grade Competition
On Sunday 18th June we had fourteen members travel to the JKS Kyu Grade Championships in Nottingham. This included six squad members and eight non--squad members representing the dojo for the first time.
Our six squad members in attendance showed the way with some great displays. For the non-squad newbies it was a great experience and all came away having a positive experience. We are proud to announce that we came away with Six Gold and three bronze medals with many dominant displays. A special mention must go to Panashe Mangwana who became a girls grand champion winning both Kata and Kumite, following her Kumite Gold at the recent Novice Champs in York.
Thank you to all family members and friends who went along to support the team.
