One Gold and Three Bronze at the EKF Nationals

On 8/9th April 2016, seven Walsall Karate Dojo students headed off to Leicester Arena to compete for JKS England at the English Karate Federation National Championships. The Walsall contingent of the JKS England team consisted of Amber Bannister, Lewis Bradbury, Sharif Ebrahami, Tanya Handley, Ben Peach, Johann Santos,  Amelia Stanley.

All seven acquited themselves really well over the course of the two days in the premier English karate tournament. Overall JKS England finished fourth in the medal table out of 59 teams that entered.

Our guys came away with 1 Gold and 3 Bronze including Johann Santos becoming English Champion in Junior Male Kata for the second year running, a fantastic acheivement. Well done Johann!
