Five Medals at the Cumbrian Open for Walsall Karate Dojo

Three Golds, One Silver and One Bronze medal were achieved on Sunday 14th June by Walsall Karate Dojo students at the 39th Cumbrian Open Karate Championships under WKF Rules. Amber Bannister came away with Gold in Individual Female Cadet Kumite, Gold in Team Female Cadet Kumite and Silver in Team Female Cadet Kata. Johann Santos came away with Gold in Individual Male Cadet Kata and Bronze in Individual Male Cadet Kumite. This was a high standard event and they both showed their class beating English and British Champions on the day. Both were representing us as part of the JKS England team along with our two future stars Millie Stanley and Sydney Mcaleenan-marks. As always we are extremely proud of our competitors for putting themselves on the tatami and representing Walsall Karate Dojo.
