Two New Third Dans for Walsall Karate Dojo
On Friday 9th and Saturday 10th March our World Chief Instructor Masao Kagawa Shihan visited England for his annual JKS England course held at the Djanogly Leisure Centre in Nottingham.
Six members of the dojo made the trip to train on the course on Friday and eleven on the Saturday.
Yet again Kagawa Shihan treated everyone to a fantastic seminar. He was on top form and his ability never ceases to amaze and inspire. The course this year focussed a lot around strong kihon mastery moving onto some key karate fundamentals behind preparation for all aspects of karate. We also got a deeper understanding of his own thoughts, beliefs and background in karate which was very inspiring.
Following the course was a grading for Sandan and above and we are pleased t announce that Mark Turner and Lewis Bradbury passed there Sandan grades. Anyone who trains at the dojo and JKS know the dedication of both of these two men. They have worked very hard for a number of years and are a great asset to Walsall Karate Dojo. Congratulations gentlemen.
