BKF 4 Nations Success!
Saturday 9th April saw some of our elite squad members competiting as part of the JKS England Squad in the British 4 Nations event in Leicester. This was the first British Championships since 2019 due to the pandemic and this time was individual events only over one day rather that the usual two which naturally restricted medal opportunities.
The event saw 795 entries from representing 71 teams from all four home nations coming together to battle it out to see who could become British Champions! This is the highest level domestic competition in Britain.
JKS England finished in a very respectable 8th position on the medal table from 71 teams with 2 Gold, 5 Silver and 6 Bronze.
All Walsall members of the team acquitted themselves superbly winning many matches and gaining invaluable experience at this level.
We are proud to announce that Walsall contributed to the medal haul with a Silver for Sharif Ebrahimi in Male Veteran Kata and a Bronze for Emily Harper in Female Kumite Kumite 16-17 Years -53kg.
