2 Gold, 2 Silver & 8 Bronze at Central England
On Sunday 23rd June we took a squad to the 23rd Central England Championships at the impressive University of Worcester Arena.
This is a very tough championship to medal at historically and this year was no exception. There were 1032 entries from seventy-one teams with eight tatamis running flat out all day long. On the whole the level of the squd was superb and no one let themselves down. Many competitors went deep into their categories and the spirit amongst the team was superb.
Our elite competitors were representing JKS and we also took a less experienced group to represent the dojo.
We eventually came away with 2 Gold medal, 2 Silver medal and 8 Bronze medals. Congratulations to all medalists:
