One Gold, Four Silver and Two Bronze in Gloucester
On Sunday 6th March, we entered our first Post-Pandemic championships.
Nineteen of our squad members travelled down to Gloucester for the Annual KSE Regional Open championships.
It was amazing to see our athletes back in action after such a long period out. Every single one acquitted themselves superbly and you should be very proud of them for representing your Dojo. There were some very promising performances inspite of a little "ring-rust" in some areas which was to be expected.
It was a tough day but we came away with a very respectable One Gold, Four Silvers and Two Bronze medals.
Here are the medalists (Also pictured above):
Gold
Sharif Ebrahimi – Male Veteran Kata
Silver
Millie Stanley - Female Senior Kata
Alex Nuta - Male Senior Kata
Freya Milligan - Female 12-13 Kumite (Brown/Black Belt)
Karanjeet Basran / Alex Nuta / Bella Wilkes - Senior Team Kata
Bronze
Luanna Roque Henriques - Female 16-17 Kumite (Brown/Black Belt)
Bella Wilkes - Female 16-17 Kumite (Brown/Black Belt)
Well done to all competitors.
