Dan Grading Success!
On 18th October a JKS England shodan grading was held at Walsall Karate Dojo with Head of JKS England Alan Campbell Sensei 7th Dan. The dan grading was a privilege to host for our Dojo.
There had been three missed Dan gradings since the last one held in February in York due to the pandemic.
As a result we had a number of eligible candidates built up who had continued to train hard and develop during lockdown and since re-opening.
In total the day saw twenty candidates and I am proud to announce that 16 Walsall candidates were successful in gaining their Shodan black belts:
Zach Andrews, Elizabeth Bateman, Michael Chen, Tian Elaouami, Archie Hill, Darun Ibrahim, Henry Jones, Phoebe Jones, Abbie Mackman, Freya Mackman, Freya Milligan, Talha Mirza, Lucia Morris, Marie Pearson, Euan Wickham-Clews, Emelia Wood.
All sixteen are pictured below.
A massive congratulations to all of you, especially those that have come back from not being successful in the past, great spirit!
