September Course and Kyu Grading

The weekend of 19th and 20th September saw Walsall Karate Dojo host former JKS and WKF World Champion Shinji Nagaki Sensei, 5th Dan. Nagaki is a graduate of the JKS Hedquarters in Tokyo and he proved yet again why he is in such demand as an instructor. On the Saturday Sensei taught two sessions to our dedicated squad members. On the Sunday Sensei taught 3 courses, Beginners to 8th Kyu, 7th Kyu to 2nd Kyu and 1st Kyu to Dan grades with over 100 attendees. The feedback from each course has been superb and we would like to thank Nagaki Sensei for visiting Walsall Karate Dojo and to everyone who turned up to train, especially the visitors we had from around the country. There was also a kyu grading with Steven Carless Sensei at the conclusion of the first two courses. Congratulations to the sixty Walsall Karate students who were successful. Finally, a big thank you to Mark Turner and Paul Stanley for their help during the kyu grading plus everyone else who helped on the day.
