Sunday 9th June saw six of our elite competitors, Bella, Jacob, Joe, Karanjeet, Szymon and Zach, made the long trip north to Penrith for the Cumbrian Open which is always a high standard event.

We would like to congratulate all six for their efforts.  It is extremely pleasing to announce that Walsall Karate Dojo came away with 5 Gold and 1 Silver!  Here are the medallists: 

Gold 

Joe Stanley - 18 years + male kumite open grade & weight 

Karanjeet Basran - 16 years + Male Kata 3rd Kyu & above 

Isabella Wilkes - 16-17 years female kumite open grade & weight 

Jacob Boorman - Para Kata Open Age & Grade
